Just a little bit about me…
As a multiple award-winning photojournalist in Virginia and Florida, and a National Newspaper Association first place award recipient, I have over 25 years of experience in the field of photography at its finest.
For over twenty years I have been a well-respected visual journalist here in the Tampa bay area as a photographic artist for The Tampa Tribune, tbo.com and WFLA News Channel 8. Throughout my career, my photographs have appeared in national publications including TIME Magazine, National Geographic’s Travel Guide, LIFE – A Year in Pictures and The Associated Press.
My love of photography began when I was just five years old – the day that I found my mother’s Kodak Brownie camera for the first time! Since then photography has encompassed my heart, soul and spirit, and is most definitely my life’s calling. It is my love for people and my love of photographic art, as seen through the eyes of my heart, that come together to bring passion to my work as a lifestyles photographic artist.
I am available to work with you on any type of photography your heart desires including events, weddings, anniversaries and birthdays, to maternity, babies, children, families, schools and pets. As a former newspaper photojournalist, I have a special love for documentary photography. I offer a photographic series I like to call “Capturing Time,” a day in the life of you, your loved ones, a family, or anything that you would like. The “Capturing Time” series can also be purchased as a slideshow DVD, complete with audio.
I am available for business profiles and corporate portraiture, as well.
